Announcement of the Chancellor of PUK 28.02.2020
Dear Erasmus+ Partners,
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and as a result of a broad consultation within our institution, we regret to inform you that it has been decided to postpone all Erasmus+ mobilities (incoming and outgoing) planned for the Winter Semester 2020/21.
We will be happy to welcome all the mobilities, both students and staff, initially planned for the 1st semester (Winter Semester) of academic year 2020/2021 during the 2nd semester (Summer Semester).
This was a very hard decision to make on our part as the Pedagogical University of Krakow is strongly committed to international mobility and we are convinced of its importance for students and staff, but it is also our responsibility to ensure the safety and the quality of their international experience, not only academic but also social and intercultural, and this would be very difficult in the present situation with all its precautionary measures and restrictions.
We look forward to continuing our fruitful cooperation, despite the difficult times,
Prof. Mariusz Misztal, M.A., Ph.D. (habil.)
Institutional Erasmus Coordinator,
Pedagogical University of Kraków, Poland.
The Pedagogical University of Krakow (PL KRAKOW05) operates in a two-semester system (15 weeks each). The first/winter semester starts at the beginning of October, and the second/summer semester starts around the middle of February. Our courses run for the entire academic year, usually with exams at the end of each semester. The exam sessions proceeded with a week of preparation takes place in January and June.
